Kitchenware Industrial Complex strikes again

It's bad enough that weddings have been all but taken over by the Wedding Bride Industrial Complex (a phrase I swear I came up with first). Now we have to deal with the Kitchenware Industrial Complex (ditto) and its 'newest trend' as reported by
Food and Wine: 'Kitchen pavilions.' ... From the glowing article: "It's as if a great room from inside the house moved into the backyard." .... I guess that says it all. But I'll translate for McMansion owners just in case: Your 'great rooms' and giant kitchens have just been outdone by the Jones. Get on it! ... The bee-ah-yootiful photo at right courtesy of F&W. ... A question I'm dying to know the answer to: At what point does a 'barbecue grill' become an 'outdoor stove'?
Update -- I truly believe new suburban homes are now approaching the exquisite level of high art not seen since the building of the
Leaning Tower of Pizza in Saugus. Now some might say this is unfair to Saugus. But behold above the mounted deer head, the vaulted ceiling,
the wrought-iron balustrades, the decorative steel trusses! ...
Bee-ah-yootiful!
